A Suffolk cleaning and maids service is celebrating after securing another significant contract to continue its impressive growth.

Since 2010 Girl Fridays Ltd, based in Sudbury, has grown from a one-man band with a handful of clients to securing a six-figure annual turnover. Girl Fridays now boasts and client portfolio of more than 80 and directly employs 28 members of staff.

Girl Fridays has just negotiated a significant contract with established building maintenance firm DRBS East Limited, which sees them bringing properties across the East of England up to the high cleanliness standards.

Vicki Arrowsmith, Managing Director, of Girl Fridays, said: “We are delighted to have been selected by DRBS East Ltd to carry out ‘sparkle cleans’ on the properties they manage across the East of England.

“This latest contract win is part of our continual growth, which we predict will increase again over the next 12 months. We have grown every year since 2010 and the demand for our services continues to grow. We are already in negotiation with two other successful organisations and if these prove to be successful we will be recruiting further members of staff.”

Girl Fridays offer a full range of services, including domestic cleaning, office cleaning, hostess services, prescription collections, shopping, plant tending, laundry, ironing and dog walking. Its clients include country estates, businesses across the East of England, holiday lets, end of tenancy and everyday households.

David Russo, Director of DRBS East Ltd, said: “We are delighted with the level of service provided to us by Girl Fridays, they always complete the task to a very high standard, on time and within budget. It is essential all our properties are maintained to the absolute highest standard.”
